Donor briefing — UNICEF Cameroon: Child-Friendly Municipality Initiative-October 16, 2023

On October 16, 2023, UNICEF and the heads of donor countries had a meeting in UNICEF headquarters in Yaoundé. Representatives of US Embassy, United Kingdom, High Commission of Canada, Belgium Kingdom, Embassy of Spain in Cameroon, Switzerland, European Union in Cameroon, Saudi Arabia…) were briefed about the implementation of the “Child-friendly community” initiative in Cameroon. Mrs. Crescence Ottou, Mayor of the district municipality Bikok took part to the meeting. Bikok municipality is committed to protect the rights of children.
