From March 7 to 10, 2023, in Douala, a couple of actors from the public policy scene took part in a multisectoral consultation workshop relating to the development of an advocacy plan and nutrition communication. The purpose of this exercise was to highlight the real problem of financial support for the nutrition program, the need to implement actions aimed at change and the importance of influencing the different spheres and achieve the changes required for a Cameroon free of hunger and malnutrition by 2030.

To this end, the strategic orientation of the communication and advocacy plan was based on the one hand on information, awareness-raising, the adherence of the various targets (the populations most affected by malnutrition) which do not have access to good nutrition methods in order to eradicate widespread practices that do not correspond to established standards and put an end to deficiencies of all kinds, at central, regional and municipal level. On the other hand, mobilize external and internal financial resources from the various partners for a Cameroon rid of hunger and malnutrition by 2030.
